Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Lincoln

The Bronze Pig Restaurant

4 Burton Rd, Lincoln LN1 3LB, UK – 01522 524817

Lovely meals and very helpful and friendly staff. The food never fails to impress. We stayed 2 nights in the new b&b at the Bronze Pig. Delightfully decorated room with a lush bathroom. My only negative comment is the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied and the coffee machine still had a used pod in it. Oh and a hook in the bathrooom would be very useful. But it was all wonderfully clean and spacious with nice big fluffy towels. We have booked to stay again next year. Thank you Aemon!

Rapid service and speed of food order. Decent quality. Quite pricey though but that was expected.

The Bowl Full Tapas Bar

185 W Parade, Lincoln LN1 1QS, UK – 01522 545577

Perfect intimate eatery. Wonderful food, great value and lovely ambience. Don't know why we waited so long, will return very soon.

Awesome food, great atmosphere and really well looked after can't wait to come back again

Woodcocks

Burton Lane End, Lincoln LN1 2BE, UK – 01522 703460

Where is the Sunday lunch menu??? Gone are the lovely traditional Sunday roasts to be replaced with "posh" Sunday specials that look like Sunday lunch spoiled! No proper mash but "cheesy mash" and gravy replaced by rich boozy sauces that are just not Sunday lunch! Yeah these specials are two for one but the cheapest was £15 !!!! I love Woodcocks and we did have a nice meal but instead of Sunday lunch we all ended up with our usual mid week choices. R.I.P proper Sunday dinner at Woodcocks 😑

The service here is nowhere near as good as it used to be! Our table had one main meal missing, and it took two attempts to get the drinks right. Things were sorted quickly, and the food was fine, but these things happened extremely rarely when customers ordered at the bar!!
