Dental Surgeries

West Parade Dental Care

33 W Parade, Lincoln LN1 1PE, UK – 01522 523821

I can’t believe these awful reviews! I have medical issues which complicate my dental care and Mr Humphries has been nothing but kind and helpful to me. I have a broken tooth which needs urgent care and am dreading having to explain everything to another dentist. I wish it wasn’t the weekend and I could go to see Mr Humphries.

I am just getting 3 teeth removed and they are very calm and do a good job

Newland Dental Care

First class service and treatment. After a sleepless and pain filled night the Newland Practice were able to schedule an appointment and provide the treatment on the same day. Very impressive.

Myself and my family have just moved to Lincoln and were in need a local dentist. I can't thank everyone at Newland Dental Practice enough for making us all feel so welcome. I felt a little nervous about my appointment as I was with my previous dentist for several years... but there was no need - everyone was friendly and supportive. I will definitely be recommending you to my friends and family! Thank you again :o)

Find Recycling Centres

Lindum Waste Recycling

Lindum Waste Recycling, Saxilby Enterprise Park, Saxilby, Lincoln LN1 2LR, UK – 01522 706960

Brilliant customer service, skips always turn up on time. Friendly office staff and polite drivers. Highly recommended.

Staff were very helpful and polite, I hired a skip which was promptly delivered and collected. Would highly recommend lindum waste for skip hire and will be using their services again

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Lincoln

The Old Bakery Restaurant with Rooms

26/28 Burton Rd, Lincoln LN1 3LB, UK – 01522 576057

We wished we could take the restaurant home to our City. Great menu and nice wine options. Service was perfect and the ambience reminded us of good experiences in Italy. The location is ok but the restaurant is better than that. Keep these restaurants secret and leave to foodies.

Very interesting menu, every dish has lot to it. Good, friendly service and a great wine list!

The Bronze Pig Restaurant

4 Burton Rd, Lincoln LN1 3LB, UK – 01522 524817

Incredible food and service. We were lucky enough to be offered the Chefs Table which was a nice bonus! The staff were all brilliant, efficient and friendly. Loved the food, there were 4 of us in our party and we all felt the same. The meat was so tender, every mouthful was a joy. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely room to stay in and fabulous food! Would definitely go back!

Castle view Indian cuisine

11 Union Rd, Lincoln LN1 3BJ, UK – 01522 523040

Very efficient service, beautiful food. Exceptionally friendly owners. Within 15 minutes we had eaten our starter and had our main on the table! Very accommodating staff, every member of staff asked how our food was, had a chat with us and wished us goodnight. Very reasonable prices too.

Had an amazing meal and was very impressed that if something wasn't right we could ask for it to be changed and a fresh dish would be prepared for us. Very tasty authentic cuisine. You definitely need to book as will not be able to just walk in and get a table so please book. You really need to try this if you haven't already, it really is the best Indian I have ever had.

Burton Hathow Preparatory School

Odder Farm, Saxilby Rd, Lincoln LN1 2BB, UK – 01522 274616

I have 4 children at this school, and find it extremely friendly and welcoming, from staff, teachers, and other families and pupils. The school has a very "family orientated" approach. When my twins started in reception they were paired with a year 6 to be their "buddy", they loved having someone to look out for them and have lunch with. The year 6's also love having the responsibility. All of the pupils know and interact with each other across the school. It is an all round school that aims to make confident, independent learners which suits all 4 of my different children very well. The children spend lots of time learning outside in the woods in forest school lessons learning core subject like maths without even realizing it. The nursery is very well structured and has prepared my children very well for moving up through the school. They learn Spanish from nursery all the way through the school, and my children never cease to amaze me in how many Spanish words they know. It is second nature to the children to perform and stand up in front of one another and parents at nativity (for EYSF) to informal and formal concerts throughout the year, which is always a pleasure. All of the teachers are so enthusiastic and always put in 110% showing a really care for the children, and keen to keep parents involved and informed. I love that the class sizes are small (around 10 per class) which allows the teachers to spend time and really get to know the children. The children are taught different subjects by specialist teachers, much like a secondary school from year 3. The head teacher is very down to earth and visible, nothing is ever too much trouble. All in all a fantastic school that has excellent results with happy well rounded confident children.
